Out of all of our early human ancestors, during this unit we learned about Australopithecus Afarensis, Homo Habilis, Homo Erectus, Homo Sapiens Neanderthalensis, and Homo Sapiens Sapiens. Each hominid was more advanced than the ones which came before it. To begin with, Australopithecus Afarensis was the first hominid to be able to walk on there own two feet, which allowed them to… walk more afficantly and easier on there two feet.
After that, Homo Habilis came along. Homo Habilis was more advanced than Australopithecus Afarensis, and was able to use tools and animal bones, which allowed them to… protect themselves and use it to find predators to attack and eat.
Next came Homo Erectus. In addition to what Homo Habilis could do, Homo Erectus was able to be the first one to make fire, which allowed them to… cook meat well not raw so they wouldn't get dieses and eat it s more healthy way.
After Homo Erectus came Homo Sapiens Neanderthalensis. They were able to find flowers and make a nice ceremony for the past way men or women, which allowed them to… show more respect to the deadman/women.
Finally, along came Homo Sapiens Sapiens, or “Early Modern Man.” These advanced hominids were able tomake fighting weapons like a bowan arrow which allowed them to… fight and hunt animals more easier from far away and not have to go to it and kill it. They also found paint and they were able to paint animals they saw.
