Should a Child Solider be held up at Guantanamo Bay
What should happen to child soldiers after a war is finished is a very complicated issue. Forcing kids to be child soldiers is very harmful to the child, and can really make them feel differently about themselves. So in result to this, they can do bad things. For example, Omar Khadr a former child solider for Al Qaeda, was sentenced to Guantanamo Bay for his actions at the age of 15. A few things he did was he killed Soldiers and U.S Sargent's. But some speculate if a child solider should be taken to a place like Guantanamo if he's under the age of 18. In my opinion, my mind changed, but this child shouldn't be taken to Guantanamo. That place is to rough for a child. A child who is built up around guns and war is going to make mistakes. But they should be taught better, there still young and have a future ahead of them. He should be taken to a place where he can be controlled and shown what a normal childhood is like. So that he can get fixed up.

Child Soldiers
Being a child solder is a problem that varies around the world in places like Africa and Asia. Child soldiering is something that is very unpleasant. In places like Somalia, child soldiering is a huge problem. There are tons of kids who are broken away from there families and are forced to join the army. They get taken advantage of, and they also get manipulated easily. Sometimes kids might complain that there parents didn't buy them a toy they wanted, and they think there life sucks. But they don't understand how it is for child soldiers In Somalia. These kids are just taught to shoot a gun when ordered to, well that mainly for the boys. Whats even worse is that the girls are forced to cook and clean for all the soldiers, and most of the time get sexually assaulted or raped. These kids don't get to go to school, or play at a park, or just have a normal childhood. They are built up as child who all they see and know is war. They have lost there families, and are manipulated to do what ever there asked to. Former child solider Ishmael Beah, fought as a child solider in the 90's for Somali. But he got lucky and got out of Somalia and got to take High school in New York, so unlike most child soldiers, he got to go to school. But as he said once "If you don't follow what there going to tell you to do, then they will just shoot you." Child soldiers not just in Somalia, but all over the world should not be kept in these bases and be forced be there government to be part of there army. There not old enough, a kid is not meant to just experience war in his or her childhood.
