Cups project

The cups project was a great project. It had precise and it showed a new way of drawing, from a different artist. How we could replicate this artwork, with cups with bouncing reflection of light was really nice. I think that this project was saved best for last, I think that I did the best and worked the hardest on this project out of all the others. How you have to sit in the same position, and you have to find the reflections, and the water level shows a lot of precise, and I really enjoyed that. Overall this was my favorite project of the year and I think that it was saved best for last.

What we can do and Why it is Endangered

What We Can Do To Help

What can we do is keep it safe by making sure that I is in the right environment, not in very cold weather. To make sure 100 % for no extinction of the Egyptian goose, is to think green, and respect its home, just like its your home, and I will stay a valid specie.

Why It's Endangered

The Egyptian goose has a rough history and a weird story, but let me tell you about it. It all started where all the alopochen animals got extinct. The only alopochen animal left was the alopochen aegyptiaca. [ Egyptian Goose} This was a big problem effect that they were the only left of their kind and that they were in weather that wasn't fit for them, they were in England. When it was the summer and spring the weather was a perfect fit,but when it came to fall and especially winter it just wasn't pretty. But finally after they noticed that the whole alopochen kind was about to get extinct, they moved them to a different area where they would stay alive. The lands of Egypt, mostly around the Sahara. When they were moved here they were not only helping themselves, they were helping the country of England. When it was the springtime and summer they were destroying all the crops and grasslands,so this helped the Egyptian goose not get extinct and it helped the English country.

Egyptian Goose global goal

“The Global Goals are 17 goals from the United Nations to increase sustainable living before 2030.” We could use the global goal number 15,life on land. This could help not just the Egyptian goose, but every animal on land, this will make people think more green. It make the environment a clean place, and this can help animals a lot to. This will make environments all over the world clean for all land animals.

Egyptian Goose Introduction

Have you ever thought about extinct animals that got saved, well the Egyptian goose is one of them? I picked this animal because I'm Egyptian and would like to know more about animals that origin from Egypt.  The Egyptian goose has very many special adaptations, features, and what they do to stay alive.

These Egyptian geese travel in flocks. Which makes them more powerful than a lot of other animals. Flocks are groups of geese together, they travel together most of the year at All time,so this makes them powerful so if a predator comes up against them they are safe. Overall it make the life of these geese much easier.

Another reason is that these geese are...Most of the Egyptian Geese only eat plants which means they are herbivores. They eat young grass from grasslands or Savannah, grains (particularly wheat) from agricultural fields, and soft vegetation like leaves and other detritus. Many tend to forage away from the water in pastures or arable land. Part of their diet includes a wide variety of small insects, terrestrial worms and frogs that live in nearby ponds.

These geese do a lot to stay alive including calling hissing calls. These geese are very smart to have this as a feature, they can use these hissing calls in important times that can even save their lives. If they maybe get lost or leave the flock and they have a problem they have certain calls for help. And they do this for help and a lot of other things.

Overall this Egyptian geese have a lot of things that make them special, and make them powerful animals.

Alopochen Aegyptiaca: Egyptian Goose

I chose this animal because I am Egyptian and I thought why not learn about an endangered specie from my own country.

2 things I would like to learn about my animal is why is it an endangered species and what makes it valuable that we have to make sure it dose not go extinct.

Tectonic Plates

The task for this project was to try to use a mars bar to explain, answer questions, and take pictures showing tectonic plates. We cut it and we tried to see all the layers, like the lower mantle, upper mantle, crust, and etc. We learned that...

We named the layers of the tectonic plates compared to the mars bar. This is a convergent boundary. The bottom part of the chocolate is the ocean boundary, the the continent boundary is going over the ocean boundary, the bottom part of the chocolate.
ocean and continental boundary
We learned about a different kind of plate,a divergent plate. A divergent plate is when two tectonic plates separate from each other like the picture below. It shows the two pieces of chocolate separating and making a crack between the two pieces. It is like the caramel was the hot lava,it sticked together and then the lava got separated.
Two plates separating from each other a divergent plate

We learned about another plate boundary, convergent boundary. That is where to plates collide. So the two plates collide and form a mountain. Basically they come together, and form up and a mountain forms. And that is how a lot of mountains form. What you see is the two plates come together and fight for the spot, and they perform a mountain and the one that loses and doesn't get the spot an earthquake happens there. Fun Fact: Most earthquakes and the big ones are from continent to continent. But if it is from ocean to continent it will be a volcano.

convergent boundary,two plates collide

We learned about one last plate boundary, the transform plate boundary. And it is where two plates pass each other. As they move past each other the might get stuck and stop moving. The stress keeps building up and the, rocks break and Suddenly move apart. They end up releasing energy very quickly in the form of an earthquake.

transform plate boundary where the move past each other

To conclude,I have learned a lot from this project. And I have enjoyed learning about tectonic plate boundary,an how they move and how mountains, earthquakes, and volcanoes form. Overall I have learned a lot and I think it was very fun to learn about tectonic plates.

Ancient Egyptian Gods Presentation

First we had to pick a topic to research and the talk about. We found sources and started searching it up then we put it in citelighter and made it into our own words. We kept doing that till we got enough research for our prezi. Once we were done with that we would make the prezi. We would make the prezi, pick a theme, and start putting frames where we wanted to put the frames. We would put the info in the frames. We put it together, saved it added pictures, and when it was prefect,we went and presented to our class.

A Day in the Life of an Ancient Egyptian peasant

For social studies I made a voki for class. But now im going to tell you how to make a voki. Step one you gather all the info. Then you select A character to talk for you. Then you design him or her as you want to try to look as you want it to look. Once you done with that you gather all the info and try to make a script for your avatar. Once you do that you get the app voice recorder, and you say your script, and it has to be a 1 minute and 30 seconds or less for it to work. Then you send it to a file. Then you go back to your avatar on voki, open the file on the voki on the voice tab, then you choose the file,it will be added on to the voki and you will be done with your voki.
